Send the balance, first payment date, frequency (weekly, biweekly, twice a month or monthly) and either the payment amount or the number of payments, plus an optional down payment and interest rate. You get every payment date (month-ends handled, weekends and federal holidays moved to the next or previous business day), level payments with a final adjusting payment, the interest and principal split, totals, a one-line read-back for the agent, and the authorization rule for recurring debits (Reg E 1005.10(b) for bank and debit payments, card network rules for credit cards). It flags payments too small to cover interest and plans longer than your maximum. Nothing is stored.
