Audits each account against the DFS debt collection rule in force (23 NYCRR Part 1): substantiation instructions within 14 days of an oral or 21 days of a written dispute, full substantiation within 60 days with collection paused meanwhile, and its four required documents (1.4); written settlement or payment-plan confirmation within 5 business days with the exempt-income notice, quarterly accountings and a satisfaction letter within 20 business days (1.5); and email only after written, debt-specific consent to a non-employer address (1.6).
