NACHA ACH File Validator

Live. Check a NACHA ACH file before it goes to your bank: structure, routing check digits, hashes and totals, trace numbers, SEC-code rules for consumer debits, RETRY PYMT and same-day limits.

Paste the NACHA file text. Every record is checked: 94-character length, file header and file control, batch header and batch control, entry detail and addenda records. It verifies routing number check digits, transaction codes and prenotes, service class 200, 220 or 225 against the direction of each entry, the entry hash, debit and credit totals and counts for each batch and the whole file, the block count and 9999 padding, trace numbers (ODFI prefix and duplicates) and addenda links. For debt collectors it also flags consumer debits sent as CCD or CTX instead of PPD, WEB or TEL, reinitiated entries that do not use the exact RETRY PYMT description (and the two-in-180-days limit), the WEB debit account-validation requirement, effective dates on weekends, holidays or in the past, and the one million dollar same-day limit per entry. International IAT batches are not handled. You get ok, send with warnings or reject, with line-numbered issues. Account numbers are masked to the last 4, receiver names are never returned and nothing is stored. Run Payment Authorization Gate to check the consumer's authorization itself. Up to 10,000 entries per call, billed per 1,000 entries. Not legal advice; your bank's file specs govern.

Price: $0.005 per call after 1,000 free per month.
