Decides whether each medical collection account may be furnished to the credit bureaus, must wait, or must never be reported. Applies state laws that bar reporting medical debt (California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Virginia, Vermont and Washington, summary table), the nationwide bureaus' policy (no medical collections under $500, none until a year after delinquency, paid ones deleted), veterans' VA Community Care debt, pending insurance claims and financial-assistance applications, nonprofit-hospital extraordinary-collection rules, identity theft, disputes, Reg F's ban on passive reporting and the medical-furnisher coding rule. Returns may report, hold with the earliest report date, or do not report, plus which existing tradelines to delete. Up to 5,000 accounts per call; facts and dates only.
