Legal fee / attorney bill check before dialing (unpaid hourly and flat-fee legal bills, retainer replenishment, contingency fees and advanced case costs): per account hold / review / ok from the facts on file (account type; no creditor authority, engagement letter or written contingency agreement; no recovery; state fee arbitration and its notice; pending fee arbitration; client file requested and not returned; open matters; own-name collection; court fee awards; disputes; attorney representation; bankruptcy; servicemember and abroad clients), plus whether the closer may contact the client, demand payment, quote a balance or mention suit. For law firms, legal billing teams, agencies and anyone running an AI closer or dialer on legal fee balances: send as_of (YYYY-MM-DD) and accounts (ref, niche legal / generic, account_type hourly / flat_fee / retainer_replenish / contingency / costs_advanced / other / unknown, plus yes/no facts: creditor_authority_on_file, engagement_letter_on_file, contingency_written, recovery_obtained, fee_arbitration_state, arbitration_notice_given, fee_arbitration_requested, client_file_requested, client_file_returned, representation_ended, firm_collecting_own_name, consumer_purpose, court_fee_award, dispute_open, bankruptcy_filed, attorney_represented, client_military, client_outside_us, payment_plan_requested).
