Live. Layaway cancellation / forfeiture check before dialing (layaway, installment purchase, store hold): per account hold / review / ok from the facts on file (account type; no creditor authority; cancelled with payments forfeited; cancelled with no refund; disputes; attorney; bankruptcy), plus whether the closer may contact, demand payment, quote a balance or add fees. Never says a cancelled layaway forfeits everything paid, never denies a lawful cancel, never keeps an undisclosed fee, never withholds goods after cancel without refund. Facts only, nothing stored. Not for funeral, movers, self-storage, parking, warranty, tow/impound, auto-repair, credit-repair, mail-order, timeshare, debt-relief, rental, gym / health-club or vehicle-lease.

For retailers, agencies and anyone running an AI closer or dialer on unpaid cancelled-layaway, installment-purchase or store-hold balances: send as_of (YYYY-MM-DD) and accounts (ref, niche layaway / retail / generic, account_type layaway / installment_purchase / store_hold / other / unknown, layaway_paid, plus yes/no facts: creditor_authority_on_file, layaway, layaway_cancelled, layaway_refunded, layaway_forfeiture_claimed, cancel_fee_disclosed, dispute_open, bankruptcy_filed, attorney_represented, consumer_purpose, payment_plan_requested). Get hold / review / ok per account with reason codes, citations (state layaway laws; 15 U.S.C. 45; the FDCPA and Reg F; 11 U.S.C. 362) and closer notes, and may_contact, may_demand_payment, may_quote_balance and may_add_fees flags (may_add_fees is always false).
