Call Center Staffing Calculator

Live. Size an inbound collections queue with Erlang C: agents needed per interval for your service level, scheduled headcount after shrinkage, answer speed and occupancy.

Give forecast calls and average handle time per interval (15, 30 or 60 minutes; up to 336 intervals, a full week of half hours). For each interval you get the fewest agents who meet the service level (80 percent answered in 30 seconds by default) without passing the occupancy cap (85 percent by default) or an optional answer-time cap, the scheduled headcount after shrinkage (30 percent by default), the expected service level, average speed of answer, occupancy and chance of waiting, plus the peak interval and total scheduled agent hours. Small queues and very high occupancy are flagged. Compliance notes for a debt collection queue come with it: verify the right party before discussing the debt (15 U.S.C. 1692c(b)), give the mini-Miranda on every call (1692e(11)), follow recording-consent rules, and keep predictive-dialer abandonment at or under 3 percent if agents are blended with outbound (47 CFR 64.1200(a)(7)). One price per calculation. Nothing is stored. A planning estimate, not legal advice.

Price: $0.002 per call after 1,000 free per month.
