Live. Put mailing addresses into USPS Publication 28 form and flag PO boxes, military APO/FPO, rural routes, return-mail markers and ZIPs that don't match the state, with a dedupe key.

Send up to 1,000 addresses as one-line strings or line1, line2, city, state and ZIP. Directionals, street suffixes and unit designators are abbreviated the USPS way (North Main Street Apartment 4 becomes 123 N MAIN ST APT 4), states are converted to two-letter codes, ZIP+4 is formatted and ZIPs that lost their leading zero in a spreadsheet are restored. Each address is flagged for PO boxes, rural routes, PMBs, care-of lines, military APO/FPO/DPO (check SCRA), return-mail markers, missing pieces and ZIP prefixes that belong to a different state, then marked ready for mail or not, with a match key that catches duplicates. Formatting and consistency only: it does not confirm the address exists (use CASS/NCOA for that). Nothing is stored and no vendor is called.
